7 Tokyo restaurants lasting for more than a century
This is a 100-year-old restaurant in Tokyo serving even snake meat. Not many diners dare to try this dish, but snake was previously quite popular because of high protein content. Snake meat is decreasing and becomes really rare, so if you want to try this special food, you can come to Kyumeido.

This is a famous bakery in Japan since 1913, attracting visitors by soft aromatic bean cakes Dorayaki. If you want to drink tea while enjoying their cakes, remember to reserve because otherwise, you will probably have to wait.

The signboard of Horaiya is not standout, so visitors have to look very closely.

Toriei restaurant is located near Shinobazu, has been opening since 1909. After over a century, the restaurant still exists and is most known for its tasty chicken hot pot. Because it is always too crowded, booking in Toriei is not easy at all. If you get a chance to eat here, you should definitely try Shamo soup.
